Getting Started
This section helps you quickly set up Cozy Essential Addons on your WordPress site. It walks you through installation, activation, and the initial steps required to start using the plugin effectively.
Quick Start Guide
- Installation & Activation
- Go to WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to Plugins > Add Plugin
- In the search bar at the top right, type “Cozy Essential Addons”.
- Click Install Now, once installation is complete click Activate.
Note: For this plugin to work install and active the Cozy Block plugin.

Custom Post Types (CPTs)
Custom Post Types allow you to organize different types of content separately from regular posts and pages. Cozy Essential Addons provides predefined CPTs to help structure your website content efficiently.

Enabling Custom Post Types
- Go to: Dashboard > Tools > CEA CPT Options
- Toggle the post types you want to enable
- Click Save Changes
Displaying Content
This feature allows you to present your Custom Post Type content on the frontend using modern block-based layouts or traditional shortcode methods.
The plugin integrates with the Gutenberg editor, enabling dynamic content rendering through the Query Loop block. When used with Cozy Blocks, you can design flexible and visually rich layouts without writing code.
Using Shortcodes
Shortcodes provide a simple way to display content in any part of your site, including pages, posts, or widgets. This method is useful for quick implementations or compatibility with non-block environments.

Demo Importer
The demo importer allows you to quickly set up your website by importing pre-built content, layouts, and settings. This is especially useful for replicating theme demos and speeding up development.
The Advanced Import plugin is required to enable the demo import feature, allowing you to quickly set up your website with pre-built content and layouts.
Importing Demo Content
- Go to: Dashboard > Appearance > CT Demo Import
- Click Import
- Confirm by clicking Yes, Import Data
- Wait for the process to complete
